During my time with Valley Food Partnership, I organized and promoted a variety of events supporting the Cultivating Farmers and Ranchers that Thrive (CFRT) program. These events connected farmers, ranchers, and community members with educational opportunities, networking spaces, and industry experts. From panel discussions on agricultural business models and agritourism, to skill-building classes, land connection meetups, and documentary screenings, each gathering was designed to strengthen the resilience, knowledge, and collaboration of our regional food system. You can learn more about the program here https://valleyfoodpartnership.org/cultivating-farmers-and-ranchers-that-thrive-1 (and yes, that is us in the video).

Content Creation

Mind Travelers Logo

In 2020, I founded Mindtravelers.org as a hands-on way to strengthen my marketing, content creation, and project management skills. I produced articles, social media content, and promotional campaigns while coordinating a collaborative ‘Community Blog’ featuring contributions from writers, artists, and musicians. The project not only grew an engaged online audience but also honed my ability to manage multi-creator projects, develop cohesive branding, and deliver consistent, high-quality content on schedule.

Please check out mindtravelers.org for many more examples.

Celebrating local creativity — For the Montrose Art Crawl, I organized a one-day pop-up gallery showcasing a diverse group of artists. In the three weeks leading up to the event, I built excitement with social media teasers highlighting the talented creators who would be featured.
